Istanbul, 27 December 2017 – Hitit achieved a successful business performance in 2017. “It was a strong year for the company. We had excellent results in all areas of the airline IT business,” said Nur Gokman, CEO of Hitit. Five new airline partners have migrated to Hitit‘s Crane airline and travel IT platform, new reporting solution Crane Business performance index (Crane BPI) was successfully launched. Furthermore, Hitit had expanded its international presence to the Latin American market and joined ALTA, the Latin American airline organization. Hitit processed more than 50 billion flight queries and 60 million passengers through its systems in 2017.

Only this year Hitit’s reservation system processed more than 60 million passenger bookings, which is a significant growth in this sector. Hitit’s agency platform is being used by more than 70,000 agencies worldwide. In 2017 Hitit has joined Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association – ALTA, the largest airline organization in the region. An important part of Hitit’s international growth strategy is the constant development of its solutions and services. In 2017 the company introduced its innovative Crane Business Performance Index (Crane BPI), a new compact and comprehensive reporting tool which provides accurate and relevant information about an airline's performance. The system tracks and analyses revenue data, load factor, yield and ancillary indicators both for historical and forward-looking periods. Crane BPI can measure the effectiveness of revenue management and pricing operations. In addition, Crane BPI provides a daily checklist based on pre-defined criteria to be processed by revenue management, inventory and pricing teams for critical flights.
