Hitit, the provider of technology that serves millions of passengers across six continents, continues its expansion in Europe with Montenegro’s flag carrier, Air Montenegro. Air Montenegro aiming to strengthen its position in the highly competitive European market, has migrated to Hitit’s Crane platform after a swift transition process – further strengthening its Passenger Service System infrastructure and distribution capabilities.

9 April 2025, Podgorica-İstanbul - Air Montenegro, Hitit’s new Partner, has begun operating with Hitit’s Crane solutions following the agreement and system migration. By using Hitit’s reservation and passenger services solution (Crane PAX), the second-largest reservation systems provider in Europe, Air Montenegro has integrated key Hitit modules for its airline IT infrastructure with future[-]proof technology in a highly competitive market. Air Montenegro, which now benefits from Hitit’s services in areas such as internet booking engine, agency and call center portal, and e-ticket hub, as well as departure control systems will be providing a seamless technology passenger experience for its customers.

Hitit CEO Nevra Onursal Karaağaç stated that they will serve Air Montenegro for five years, supporting its goal of increasing the number of passengers in the best possible way during this period.
