At this time of year, as I reflect on the path we have taken, I see 2025 not merely as a period defined by our technological advancements and new partnerships, but as a journey strengthened by shared goals and a deeply rooted sense of teamwork. Our Partners’ trust and the dedication of our colleagues have, together, transformed 2025 from a calendar year into a meaningful milestone, one that has further shaped our culture and reinforced our long-term vision.
A New Threshold in Technology
As many of you are closely observing, the aviation sales ecosystem, namely the evolving dynamics between airlines and passengers is undergoing a profound period of renewal and transformation. At a time when the very concept of retailing is being redefined, it has become increasingly clear that airlines require more flexible, more personalized, and more agile operating models. At Hitit, we are not merely observing this transformation; we are actively shaping it through swift, decisive action and a clear strategic vision.
Developed and certified in full alignment with IATA’s Modern Airline Retailing standards, Hitit Oxygen stands as one of the most tangible examples of this approach. By enabling airlines to manage their Offer and Order processes end to end, Oxygen not only addressed the needs of today but it has also established a strong foundation for the industry’s future retailing vision. Its positioning in independent industry reports has further validated the technology architecture that we have been meticulously developing over an extended period is progressing – in the right direction.
The completion and successful go-live of the IATA Timatic Web platform marked another major milestone of the year. Our collaboration with IATA, the principal authority that defines rules and sets global standards for the aviation industry, stood as a strong testament to the trust placed in Hitit and the responsibility we undertake on a global scale.
We firmly believe that the most effective way to advance technology is through the sharing of knowledge. Guided by this belief, the webinar series we launched and the case studies built on real-world use cases created a shared learning environment – not only for the Hitit community, but for the industry as a whole.
From Sustainability to Societal Impact
In 2025, sustainability evolved into a holistic approach that fundamentally shaped both our decision-making processes, and the way we conduct business. Our inclusion in the BIST Sustainability Index and the publication of our first Sustainability Report marked the beginning of a new chapter, one in which we address both our environmental and social impact (vis. CSR) with greater transparency, measurability, and a long-term perspective. These milestones clearly demonstrated that Hitit is not only a technology provider, but also an organization that embraces the responsibility of carrying the value it creates into the future – and the impact it can have, for the better.
Throughout 2025, we brought numerous social responsibility initiatives to life across diverse areas, actively engaging our teams in each of these efforts. One of the most enduring and impactful examples of this approach has been the “Rackets Up” project, which we have been expanding every year since 2018. Implemented in collaboration with the Turkish Table Tennis Federation, the experience of young participants traveling from different regions of Anatolia to Istanbul stands as a powerful reflection of Hitit’s long-term perspective and its commitment to contributing meaningfully to society.
We framed our excitement for the new year through the same lens. In partnership with LÖSEV, we took part in the “Bir Dilek Tut” (Make a Wish) initiative, helping bring children’s New Year wishes to life. This collaboration once again reaffirmed that, for Hitit, social responsibility goes beyond providing support. It is about nurturing hope and placing the spirit of sharing at the very center of our actions.
Our Collective Success
In 2025, as the number of Partners using our operational products continued to grow, we expanded our solution portfolio with new AI-enabled capabilities. While maintaining a strong focus on the future through strategic investments such as Hitit Oxygen and the Hitit Payment Services Platform (HPO), we pursued our development efforts with the same determination to further enhance the competitiveness of our existing products.
The tangible impact of this commitment was reflected in the recognition we received. Being ranked as the third-largest exporter in the Software and Information Technologies category by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (HİB), and being honored with the Export Leadership Special Award in the Large-Scale Companies category at the BEETECH Technology Awards presented by Istanbul Technical University, stood as strong acknowledgements of the collective effort demonstrated throughout the year.
Above all, the most unifying force behind these achievements continues to be our corporate culture. Being honored once again this year with the Excellent Employee Experience Certificate by Happy Place to Work, supported by even higher employee satisfaction scores, reaffirmed that our people-centric approach is delivering meaningful results. The achievements of our sailing and basketball teams further demonstrated that the spirit of teamwork at Hitit extends well beyond business processes alone.
Through the strategic workshops we held throughout the year, we once again shaped Hitit’s future together, as a collaborative exercise. This inclusive process enriched by contributions from colleagues at every level transformed 2025 into a year defined by collective intelligence, a shared vision, and a strong commitment to moving forward together.
2026: A Year of Reconnection and Shared Growth
We are already welcoming 2026 with great enthusiasm. Bringing together our Partners from around the world across different regions of Türkiye has, over the years, become one of the most meaningful elements of the Hitit journey. With this perspective, we are preparing to host our Partners in İzmir in 2026 as part of the Hitit Partner’s Event.
I firmly believe that this gathering will provide a strong platform where we will share experiences, draw inspiration from one another, and jointly shape our plans for the future.
The year we leave behind has once again reminded us of an essential truth: what moves Hitit forward is not solely the technology we develop, but the value we create together, the collective intelligence that emerges as we pursue shared goals, and the strong sense of partnership that has grown over the years.
