29 January 2024 / ALMATY-ISTANBUL- Hitit, a leading airline and travel technology company worldwide, has renewed its partnership with FlyArystan, the low-cost carrier within the Air Astana group, Kazakhstan and Central Asia’s largest airline group. The technology collaboration began in 2019 when Hitit became the launch partner for FlyArystan. FlyArystan will continue to operate and expand with Hitit's cutting edge Technologies. As a pivotal partner, Hitit has played a significant role in empowering FlyArystan to transform the Central Asia travel market and introduce innovative projects. Nevra Onursal Karaagac, CMO of Hitit, commented on Hitit's renewal of its partnership with FlyArystan:

“After signing our contract with FlyArystan in 2019, we facilitated their rapid start of operations after a seamless cutover process. As FlyArystan commenced operations shortly before the pandemic, this global crisis served as a crucial test for both parties involved. Fortunately, the alignment of FlyArystan’s goals, vision, and competent staff with Hitit’s strong technological capabilities and steadfast support and services throughout the challenging process facilitated the rise of a star in the midst of the pandemic. Even at the peak of the pandemic in 2020, FlyArystan carried more than 2 million passengers and managed to expand its fleet. FlyArystan has achieved remarkable milestones over the past five years. FlyArystan has been awarded 4 stars by Skytrax, earning the title of ‘Best low-cost carrier in Central Asia and CIS’.

These recognitions are not coincidental; we are delighted to take our technology to the next level with our valued partner FlyArystan’s hardworking teams and visionary approach. Through our innovative technology, FlyArystan achieved a significant milestone in passenger services with the iJan software-powered kiosk project at all domestic airports. We successfully developed dynamic ancillary solutions and introduced paid check-in, enhancing the overall passenger experience. This fruitful collaboration is set to expand further with the activation of new projects in the near future. It gives us immense satisfaction at Hitit to acknowledge our role in these accomplishments and to reaffirm our partnership once more. The FlyArystan-Hitit partnership is poised to drive the Central Asian aviation industry forward in a visionary way.”

Commenting on the extension of their partnership with Hitit, Adrian Hamilton-Manns, President & CEO of FlyArystan, said: “Our partnership with Hitit is a cornerstone of our technology strategy. The innovation strategy that FlyArystan has successfully implemented relies heavily on the support and professionalism of the Hitit team. From our self-service airport experience (iJan) to automated disruption management Hitit have partnered with us to introduce leading edge solutions into FlyArystan, allowing us to be the leading airline in the region. Our near term plans include expanding the airport self-service approach to make travel even easier for our passengers. Hitit’s technology enables FlyArystan to develop and innovate faster than our competitors – giving us a significant competitive advantage.

We are very proud of the work Hitit has done to support our ambitions and the decision to extend our partnership was easily made. The innovations that FlyArystan will introduce in 2024 and beyond are possible because of our collaboration with technology partners. Hitit is our longest standing and most critical partner and we are delighted that our partnership will continue.”
