Hitit, a global provider of next-generation airline and travel software solutions, has published its first sustainability report. The report is prepared in compliance with The Turkish Sustainability Reporting Standards (TSRS). Covering the results of 2024, the report presents a comprehensive view of Hitit’s business model by addressing not only financial performance, but also customer satisfaction, human resources, energy consumption, and climate-related risk and opportunity analyses. The report emphasizes the Company’s commitment to sustainability across its entire ecosystem.  

25 August 2025, Istanbul – Hitit, a pioneer provider of airline and travel software solutions to 72 partners in 50 countries across six continents, has published its first sustainability report. Announced on the Public Disclosure Platform and covering the results of 2024, the report was prepared in compliance with TSRS 1 and TSRS 2 standards, while also considering sector-specific criteria developed by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB).

The report examines Hitit’s business model, sustained for more than 30 years, through different capital structures. Financial, asset, intellectual, human, social and connection, as well as natural capital, are evaluated in connection with the company’s mission, vision, strategies, ethical values, and governance structure. This approach demonstrates how R&D efforts and tangible products are created, and how they differentiate in both national and international markets.

The 2024 Sustainability Report covers not only financial performance, but also includes data on customer numbers, market expansions, customer satisfaction, and human resources. The report further evaluates the impact of aviation industry trends, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data protection, and climate change on Hitit’s business model.

Hitit places sustainability at the core of its business strategies 

Hitit further embraces sustainability beyond environmental impacts, aiming to fully integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into its business processes. The company strives to embed sustainability at the heart of its corporate strategy, reinforce it through an innovative approach and a strong corporate culture, and enhance it via an effective governance framework. In this context, stakeholder relationships are prioritized, ensuring that sustainability is consistently addressed across the entire ecosystem.

The report also highlights Hitit’s competitive advantages. Key strengths include the ability to provide end-to-end solutions to airlines of various scales, consistent customer satisfaction, a presence across diverse geographies, expertise in aviation and software, strategic partnerships, talent management, employee engagement, and an agile business structure.

The company’s core strategy is built on sharing its customers’ success through a ‘Partner’ approach. The report presents short-, medium-, and long-term plans within this framework, alongside scenario analyses related to climate change. The financial impacts, possibilities, and value chain implications of these risks are assessed, and the opportunities they may create, as well as corresponding actions, are presented in a comprehensive overview.

Aiming to reduce energy consumption by 10% by the year 2030

Energy consumption data is also included in the report. According to the report, in 2024, purchased electricity amounted to 921.04 GJ, while total energy consumption reached 984.07 GJ. Energy usage is regularly disclosed to the public within the Scope 1 and Scope 2 structure. Hitit aims to reduce energy consumption by 10% by the year 2030, compared to 2024 levels.
