Istanbul, 29 January 2020 – Hitit announced a significant growth in revenue and EBITDA. Revenue increased by 36% compared with 2018 and EBITDA grew by 68% against 2018. Furthermore, the company announced ten new airline partnership agreements giving an important boost to Hitit’s impact on innovation both locally and internationally and resulting in the company acquiring a larger share of the global PSS market.
Hitit, one of the leading Airline IT providers in the aviation market, acquired 10 new airline partners from nine countries - Bahamas, Chile, Cyprus, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Spain, and Uganda. “We have increased our partner numbers in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America. 2019 was one of the most remarkable years in the company’s history, reflected in the large growth of our financials.”, said Nevra Onursal Karaagac, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at Hitit.
“The number of partners increased by nearly 50% and we created an ecosystem that allowed us to grow together with our partner airlines. For example, the performance of Flyarystan, one of our new partners in 2019, clearly demonstrates the success of our cooperation which resulted in more than 4,000 flights, over 700,000 passengers with a 94% load factor and 90% on-time performance, in only eight months.”
