Istanbul, 14 June 2017- Hitit CS had a strong presence at Aviation Festival Africa 2017. During the conference, Hitit CS made two presentations about future airline distribution and passenger service trends. Hitit CS has a proven track record for serving African airlines. Recent customer gains of Hitit in Africa were Air Tanzania, Precision Air, Nouvelair, Tunisie and Air Namibia. Today over 70,000 travel agencies worldwide are using Hitit's distribution system and more than 50 billion flight queries are being processed each year. In 2016 Hitit's reservation system counted more than 55.5 million passenger bookings.

In 2016 and 2017 Hitit CS, the IT provider from Turkey has convinced seven African airlines to benefit from its innovative airline solutions. Among these new customers were Air Namibia, Air Tanzania, Precision Air and Nouvel Air. Hitit CS has planned to strengthen its efforts in Africa. One step is the sponsorship of Aviation Festival Africa 2017 in Johannesburg. The company has been represented by high-level Hitit professionals from marketing, sales, account services, IT and operations departments. 

Hitit's speakers include Semra Kandemir who addressed about "Airline Distribution in the Uber Age". Kandemir, graduating with a degree in Engineering in Electronics worked for Turkish Airlines between 1992 and 2009. In 2009 she joined the construction team of the Sabiha Gokcen Airport in Istanbul and in 2013 she moved to Hitit CS as IT Director. The other speaker, Emir Esici made a presentation about modern PSS components which consist of passenger service system, reservation & passenger services, internet booking engine, allotment manager, loyalty layer, departure control system and customer care layer. Esici has worked in the aviation industry for 11 years at several departments and positions. During his professional life, he served in Gulf Air, Saudi Arabian Airlines and Qatar Airways. Now continues his aviation career in Hitit CS as the Account Service Manager.

Aviation Festival Africa is the leading aviation conference on the continent.
