Since 2018, in partnership with the Turkish Table Tennis Federation (TMTF), “Rackets Up” has promoted healthy lifestyles, regular exercise, and equal opportunities through table tennis, prioritizing schools most in need and enabling volunteer PE teachers to earn TMTF coaching certification. – To date, we have reached 411 schools, supported 430 teachers, and touched the lives of more than 160,000 children, while contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals of good health and well-being, reduced inequalities, and quality education.
Building on this impact, the “Rackets Up” Türkiye Championship brings local champions from participating provinces together. In 2025, local competitions across project schools culminated in a final in Istanbul, where champions competed for national titles in the Mini Cadet, Cadet, and Junior categories. Students from Anatolia also enjoyed a two-day cultural and activity program in Istanbul, creating lasting memories alongside the competition. Reflecting the World Table Tennis Federation’s 2025 theme, “Diversity and Inclusion,” we recognized male and female winners separately in each category and celebrated with trophies and educational support—creating lasting memories alongside the competition. As the first sustainable table tennis initiative of its kind, “Rackets Up” continues to stand out for its reach within Türkiye and, potentially, internationally, ensuring that its spirit inspires many generations to come.
