Our partnership with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has grown steadily since 2018, shaped by years of close collaboration and shared operational objectives. Following the renewal of our agreement in 2023, we entered a new phase as PIA expands its use of the Crane Solution Suite to include Crane Crew.
As of October 1, PIA has officially gone live with Crane Crew, marking an important step in modernizing its crew planning operations. PIA operates a large and diverse network, serving 74 routes across 13 countries. With the introduction of Crane Crew, the airline will now manage the planning and operations of approximately 2,000 flight crew members through a single, integrated platform.
Crane Crew provides end-to-end support for crew planning, regulatory compliance, and operational control, enhanced by smart optimization tools that help create balanced and cost-efficient schedules. The solution also includes functional modules for IROPS management, training, and workforce planning. It also features the Crew in Touch mobile application, which supports crew members in their work processes and contributes to the smooth execution of crew management operations through real-time data exchange. By collecting preferences, requests, and feedback, the application also enhances crew satisfaction and loyalty.
