As we move through the first Quarter of 2026, the airline and travel technology landscape continues to evolve rapidly. Passenger expectations are shifting, digital retailing is advancing, and airlines are seeking more agile, scalable technologies to support sustainable growth. At Hitit, we remain focused on supporting this transformation while strengthening the ecosystem we share with our partners.
As we wrap up Q1 2026, we are pleased to say that the year has started on a strong and successful note. In this edition of #HititTalks, we are excited to share several important developments with you. Among the highlights is the publication of our Annual Report 2025, prepared for all our stakeholders.
Our annual report is one of the most important documents, reflecting Hitit’s identity and the value we create together in the airline and travel technology ecosystem. Together with our partners, investors, employees, third-party collaborators, academic institutions, and public organizations, we form a large and dynamic ecosystem. We take our responsibility toward all our stakeholders seriously and aim to present our work throughout the year in the most transparent and comprehensive way.
We were honored to see this commitment recognized internationally. At the LACP Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious reporting competitions based in the United States, our Annual Report 2024 ranked second globally. This achievement, among publicly listed companies from around the world participating in the program, was a great source of pride for us and a strong affirmation of our commitment to transparency and accountability toward our stakeholders. Our Annual Report 2025 has been prepared with the same dedication and care, and we hope you will enjoy exploring it on our website.
While preparing this year’s report, we also highlighted several important developments shaping the industry. According to the latest data published by IATA, key performance indicators such as Revenue Passenger Kilometers (RPK), Available Seat Kilometers (ASK) and Passenger Load Factor (PLF) all showed strong positive growth. The global PLF reached a historic high of 83.6%, reflecting the strong demand across the industry. Supported by these high demand and load factors, total industry revenues surpassed USD$1.0 trillion for the first time. In short, the aviation industry has delivered its strongest overall profitability performance in 25 years. After several challenging years, it is encouraging to see the sector moving well beyond the pandemic period and focusing once again on sustainable commercial growth.
As your digital transformation partner, we remain committed to supporting this positive momentum. Through our ongoing R&D investments, innovative products, and technology solutions, we are here to help our partners turn this favorable industry outlook into tangible and sustainable profitability.
Looking ahead, we have a very exciting 2026 and beyond planned. There is so much we would like to share with you—and, fortunately, we will soon have the opportunity to do so in person. We are preparing with great excitement to welcome you to İzmir, the pearl of Türkiye and a city that represents a unique historical and cultural heritage, not only for our country but for the world.
