Dubai, 16 January 2019 - K2 Airways from Pakistan is joining Hitit’s network of airlines partners. The new partnership was launched with a signing ceremony in Dubai, the other headquarters of the airline company aside from Karachi. The airline is a start-up carrier that will begin operating in May 2019. With K2 Airways, Hitit is enhancing its position in Pakistan, after the successful migration of the national flag carrier Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), last September.

Hitit, named one of the Top 5 PSS providers in the field of airline and travel IT systems, will provide K2 Airways with its Crane solution suite. The core system is Crane Pax, a state-of-the-art Passenger Service Solution (PSS). Hitit is demonstrating its high-tech capability with its Crane solution suite, in the airline IT market in Pakistan. Further solutions in use at K2 Airways are the Crane IBE (Internet Booking Engine), Crane DCS (Departure Control System), Crane LL (Loyalty Layer),  website design and CMS services.

The new start up airline is gearing up its infrastructure to launch operations in month of May 2019 making use of state of art Turbo- Prop aircraft.”
