The “Loyalty” conferences organized in association with Airline Business and Global Flight, held its first U.S conference in February this year at the Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel, Texas.

The event was attended by over 250 delegates from some of the world’s leading airlines, hotels and loyalty program operators.  Hitit CS was once again a key sponsor of this prestigious event.

As always the conference started with the traditional free master class held by Carlson Marketing, where Carlson Senior Director for Global Airline Practice, Evert De Boer made a presentation, covering 30 years of Frequent Flyer Programs – Past, Present and Future.  He was joined by special guest Randy Petersen, Editor of Inside Flyer, the ffp industries leading source of information.

Memorable presentations during the three day event included “The Survival (and Evolution) of a Simple Idea, by American Airlines AAdvantage President, Maya Leibman.  A panel discussion on Social Media, moderated by Simpliflying CEO, Shashank Nigam was also very well received.

Emirates Airlines picked up the Best Loyalty Program of the Year Award, as voted for by the delegates and judging panel for its Skyward program.  Emirates for Manager for Product Development & Marketing,

Kashmira Motiwalla was in attendance to receive the award.  Other winners included SAS Eurobonus and Inter Continental hotels.
