Readers of the airline industry’s most popular magazine, Air Transport World, voted Hitit’s 2010 ad campaign as the second best advertising campaign in the Technology category. Hitit who serves more than 30 airlines around the world with Crane Airline Solutions, was invited to the 38th Annual Airline Industry Awards held at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore, 13th February, to pick up the silver award. Hitit, who designs and writes copy for all of its marketing campaigns in-house, were represented at the ceremony by the creators of the campaign, Creative Director, Nevra Onursal and Marketing Director, Mustafa Ozalcin. In a survey carried out by independent body Signet Research Inc., over 1,400 readers of ATW Magazine worldwide adjudged Hitit’s ad campaign to have a clever and clear message, with excellent use of images and composition. Hitit Marketing Director Mustafa Ozalcin said, “ATW Daily News is the first email I read every morning and I couldn’t believe it when ATW called to say their readers had selected Hitit for an award! It was completely out of the blue! The award is extremely gratifying on two counts. It shows that we were able to get our message across and we managed to create this with Nevra on a miniscule budget…” Sabre Solutions picked up the gold award at the awards ceremony where Air New Zealand picked up the top accolade as Airline of The Year.
