“One of the most remarkable qualities at Hitit is the loyalty of the employees, this has been one of the most rewarding and exciting things for me since I started working here” said our Head of HR, Figen Donder, who joined the Hitit team in early 2017. With her 20 years of experience in HR, Figen has been a pioneer in creating innovative HR approaches since she has got behind the wheel as Hitit’s Head of HR.

Figen received both a BS and an MS degree from Marmara University. She graduated from the Faculty of Education, English Language Teaching Department in 1992 and in 2000 she achieved her Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and Development. Throughout her career she has been responsible for the implementation of all corporate HR Functions, as Specialist, Manager, VP and Consultant in a variety of industry sectors, such as chemical, automotive, steel, technology and finance/insurance. In 2014, she received her Coaching Certificate.

“When I started as the Head of HR at Hitit, my first impression was that the people in key positions had many years of seniority. Particularly in the technology sector, there are only few companies that manage to create such a structure and maintain it. Throughout my career of more than 20 years, I have had experience in HR management in nearly 10 different companies from different sectors. Hitit's employee commitment was one of the first things that caught my attention and impressed me. In order to further build on this commitment, we began to revise our HR policies in line with Hitit's growing position in the sector. We have been strengthening HR processes by restructuring our HR strategy for nearly two years now. In doing so, we have preserved the values we have and included new ones. Performance development system, training & development and career planning are among our top priorities. We have implemented a new performance system with online software, free from paper. We believe that our new system, which supports the strengthening of executive and employee communication and enables e-learning, will improve employee performance. Hitit is a company that is able to blend its young structure with its experienced staff. This structure gives Hitit a unique dynamism and places Hitit in a very different place from its competitors in the sector.”
