Hitit introduced Rackets Up, a social responsibility project carried out in partnership with the Turkish Table Tennis Federation, to children in Sakarya, its fifth province. Launched with the support of Sakarya‘s Governor Çetin Oktay Kaldırım, provincial officials and mainstream media, the latest phase of Rackets Up attracted great interest. Hitit plans to reach more children and young people all over Turkiye with Rackets Up – and has included 25,000 students from 80 Sakarya schools in the project. 95 teachers who volunteered for the project will receive training provided by TMTF and coaching certificates to qualify them to start training the students. To date, the number of students benefiting from Rackets Up has reached 140,000 across 355 schools and the number of teachers now receiving coaching training has reached 370. The project will continue in different provinces over the coming months.
